After spinning out from the University of Oxford in 2011, Pilio developed, commercialised and housed an Energy Management and Carbon Footprint software.
As a team of energy and sustainability scientists, our tools were developed to be data-driven yet approachable for teams at all levels of experience.
The software supported hundreds of UK and global businesses to monitor energy use, understand carbon impact, set targets and track progress.

In 2024 we officially sold our Energy Management and Carbon Footprint software to our partners, Green Future Project. Under Green Future Project’s ownership the software remains a strong tool for getting a handle on your organisational impact and identifying opportunities for action.
